Join a guided tour to learn about the indigenous wild cats of South Africa. See African Wild Cats, Servals, Caracals, Cheetahs, Lions, and Leopard as well as other local wildlife such as meerkats, marabous, even Penguins, and much much more!
This is a unique opportunity to get close to some amazing wild cats as well as other unique creatures and learn about their struggle to survive in the wild.
You will be taken into the habitats of the various cats, and where, for safety reasons, this is not possible, a walkway will give you the opportunity to see and photograph the wild cats whilst your guide explains interesting information about the species and their role in promoting biodiversity.
The program includes a visit past the Penguin Pool where you have the opportunity to learn more about the marine conservation work that Tenikwa is involved with and a window into the Wildlife Rehabilitation.
The income generated from tours funds the conservation work that Tenikwa does. Activities cater for all ages and interest levels from family travel looking for an educational nature experience to couples looking for a more in-depth view of the conservation work. All wildlife activities are guided by permanent guiding staff and guests enjoy the interaction with the staff as much as the experience seeing the indigenous wild cats of South Africa.
