Primate Sanctuary Visit KwaZulu Natal, South Africa

Visit Africa’s largest multi-species, free-roaming primate sanctuary in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. This 23-hectare indigenous forest sanctuary is home to more than 100 individual primates including tufted and weeper capuchins, Bolivian and common squirrel monkeys, black howler monkeys, ringtailed and black and white ruffed lemurs, and buffcheeked gibbons.

Knowledgeable guides will take you on a tour through the forest where they will point out, identify and explain the many natural wonders, from the rich diversity of wildlife that occur naturally, to the indigenous trees and their uses in Zulu culture. The emphasis however is on searching for the primates and the reward is to see the various species living as they were meant to, free and in a natural habitat. Guided tours take between an
