With a diverse network of trails in the Garden Route, guided day walks are ideal for hikers wanting to learn more about the region's ecology. Between Mossel Bay and Storms River in the Garden Route, there are endless nature trails. Choose from a variety of guided nature walks on trails ranging in distance from 2.5km to 20km.

Walking or hiking through forest, Fynbos, or along coastal paths, learn more about the rich natural diversity which contributed to the origins of mankind.

The coastline in the Garden Route extends over 250km between Mossel Bay in the west and Storms River in the east and has some iconic trails. A mix of rocky cliffs and sandy beaches, there are numerous options to choose from when exploring the spectacular coastline.

The Garden Route is also home to over 80,000 hectares of Afro-montane Forest flanking the southern slopes of the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountain ranges and hosts an impeccable network of hiking trails suitable for all capabilities.

Rich in botanical diversity, the Fynbos of the Western Cape of South Africa is renowned for its magnificent floral display. To explore the Fynbos, there are superb trails, both in the Outeniqua mountains and in the coastal dunes.
