Day 10: Camp Aussicht is often our client’s favourite place to stay in Namibia, partly due to its rugged appeal and location up high in the Kaokoland mountains, but also largely to their host Marius, who built his home and your rooms. This morning you will have the unique experience of visiting a Himba tribe, that Marius has known for over thirty years. We encourage you to talk to the Himbas and ask both them and Marius questions, also share information about your life to encourage conversation both ways.

Day 11: After a last relaxing morning at Camp Aussicht and a few final photos of the dioptase mine and the views of Kaokoland, you will head to the beautiful Vingerklip lodge. This lodge overlooks the vingerklip, a large rock standing 35m tall. The views are also stunning over the Ugab terraces. Your guide will explain how this unusual rock formation came to be.

Day 12: Prepare to stretch your legs as this next region is excellent for hiking. The Waterberg plateau has many hiking trails in the national park, some at the foot of the plateau and some going all the way up to the top. Discuss with your guide which will be best for you. You will likely see several small creatures as the plateau is made of porous soft rock which creates many natural springs, and thus green vegetation unlike that you will have seen anywhere else in Namibia.
Lodge: Waterberg Valley lodge. Basis: FB+
Day 13: This morning, enjoy one last walk around the Waterberg. This time, in the private Waterberg Wilderness Reserve, to the end of the valley and a pretty natural water spring. Either relax in the afternoon and prepare your suitcases for the upcoming flight, or enjoy one last sundowner (optional) and see the white rhinoceros in the private reserve of Waterberg Wilderness.

Day 14: Today is your last day in Namibia and your guide will take you back to Hosea Kutako airport in Windhoek.
