Although the Kruger National Park is one of South Africa's most notable attractions year-round, there are certain times of the year which bring key points of interest to the destination. Winter season can bring the best game viewing, however the summer season brings full waterholes, lush bushveld and newborn animals which is exciting to witness.
If you're planning on visiting Kruger National Park from now until June 2018, you will be visiting during the summer/autumn season which is a great opportunity to see the variety of wildlife flocking around the waterholes. Another added benefit to visiting the Kruger during this time is that that you can get 50% off your Kruger Shuttle!

Relaxation of water restrictions.
Dams supplying Cape Town are at 71% capacity, compared with 36% a year ago. As a result, the City of Cape Town will relax water restrictions as of Saturday, 1 December 2018. Residents will now be allowed to use 105 litres a day, per person. While locals are encouraged to keep their water-saving habits, no doubt the City of Cape Town hopes that the new limit will further increase tourism this summer season.
