Flying around South Africa

BA – Comair

Flying under the British Airways banner, Comair is another full-service airline that flies predominantly to and from Cape Town, Johannesburg (O R Tambo and Lanseria), Durban and Port Elizabeth. Known for its reliability and outstanding service BA in South Africa is a popular choice for business travellers.


The orange planes of Mango represent the no-frills or budget airline of South African Airways. In bids to reduce operating costs, a growing number of SAA flights are substituted with Mango flights and aircraft. The airline flies to 7 domestic destinations: Johannesburg OR Tambo and Lanseria, Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and George. Flights are affordable and reliable.


Kulula is South Africa’s first budget airline and forms part of BA Comair. The distinctive green planes and the super friendly onboard service make this one of SA’s favourite airlines. The airline flies to 7 destinations:  Johannesburg (O R and Lanseria), Cape Town, Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth and George. The flights are affordable and the service legendary.

SA Airlink

To get to one of a staggering 24 locations in South Africa, Airlink is the airline to choose. Smaller aircraft on less busy routes allow anyone to get almost anywhere in SA by air.

Fly Safair

The new kid on the block in terms of air travel in SA. A hugely popular airline, mainly due to very low fares, Safair flies to 7 destination in South Africa: Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg (O R and Lanseria), East London, George and Port Elizabeth.
