Spend 14 days exploring the best parts of Swaziland, Mozambique, and the Kruger National Park area. Highlights of this tour include Hlane National Park and Umphakatsi Cultural Village in Swaziland, Barra Beach, Bazaruto Archipelago, and Bilene in Mozambique and Kruger National Park and the Panoramic Route, in South Africa.
In Swaziland, Hlane Royal National Park encompasses an area of 22,000 hectares, and is home to lion, elephant, white rhino, giraffe, and many other species; including the most concentrated population of nesting white-backed vultures
in Africa. The rugged natural surrounds are beautiful and unique. The Umphakatsi, or Chief Village, is an authentic homestead that models the traditional way of life. The residents here will share their culture and traditions, demonstrating age-old practices.
Mozambique offers many activities such as whale watching, fishing, cultural tours,
snorkelling, and kayaking. Bazaruto Archipelago gives you a feeling once only
experienced by the explorers of the past. A dhow trip out to one of the islands is a must-do, followed by a feast on the beach for lunch and snorkelling at one of the reefs, with its many species of fish, and, at times, the Green and Leatherback Turtles and Manta Rays. Dugongs (Manatees) and Flamingoes are also seen at certain times of the year in the waters of the archipelago. You can also go out fishing for the morning and Vilanculos has some of the best game fishing in the Mozambique channel. Leaving Vilanculos, stop off at the market in Inhambane for shopping before making your way to the beach. At Barra, enjoy an ocean safari and more traditional Mozambique cuisine. On most ocean safaris you see Dolphins, Whales, Mantas and at times you may even have the opportunity to swim with Whale Sharks. Barra is one of the places you should not miss the sunrise over the ocean. Horse riding, quad biking, mangrove safaris, and scuba diving are all possible. Leaving Barra behind, make your way south through the country to Macaneta Beach. With the Nkomati River and the Indian Ocean as its borders, Macaneta is the jewel in the crown of the Maputo province. Macaneta offers pristine beaches, whale watching, game fishing and it is also home to the delicate breeding grounds of the giant leatherback turtle.
Finally, cross the border to Kruger National Park. Once inside the Kruger, you will be on the lookout for wildlife. Your game drives will take you through the southern parts of the park and remember to take your camera along. You may come across the Big 5: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Leopard, and Lion. Once you exit the park the road takes you up to God's Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and the Blyde River Canyon.
Your trip will include your transport, the services of a driver/guide, select meals, and all accommodation.
