Beyond fishing, this area is rich in biodiversity. Birdwatching is excellent, and in turtle season, guests may witness hatchings. Boat tours are available to spot wildlife or explore the river system. The beach is nearby and easily accessible by boat upon request.
Fishing Seasons:
• Summer (Late October – June): Prime river flow and peak season for Tarpon, Jacks, Snapper, Threadfin, Permits, and more.
• Winter (June – October): Fewer but larger fish, including giant Threadfin (up to 50kg), Cubbera Snapper, Kob (up to 70kg), and Barracuda.
Fishing the estuary is especially productive during both seasons and provides a unique opportunity to target multiple species in calm, scenic waters. Tides play a key role—spring tides with early morning or evening highs are typically best.
This is not a luxury getaway—it’s a raw, off-the-grid experience for those who live to fish.
